About Sterling Gasfitting & Plumbing

OVER 18 YEARS OF TRUSTED EXPERIENCE

Sterling Gasfitting & Plumbing is a family-owned business proudly serving Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and surrounding areas. With more than 18 years of hands-on industry experience, we specialise in gasfitting, hot water systems, leak detection and complete plumbing solutions for residential, strata and commercial properties.
Our founder, Jay Lennox, is a fully qualified gasfitter, plumber and refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic, holding licences and qualifications across both Australia and the United Kingdom, including:
  • Heating Engineer (Scotland)
  • Certificate IV in Plumbing and Gasfitting (Australia)
  • Disconnection and reconnection of hot water systems, low voltage appliances and motors
  • Fully licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence
Having lived and worked across the Eastern Suburbs for more than a decade, Jay combines local know-how with international experience gained in the United Kingdom, including hydronic heating systems, strict gas compliance, and the installation, servicing and commissioning of boilers and hot water systems.
